The R1S has eight different drive modes that allow the driver to tailor the ride to their personal driving preferences and different road conditions. Rivian also claims that the R1T is capable of driving through 3+ feet of water.
The second-row of seats fold 60/40 with the third-row splitting 50/50, with room for 7 passengers and seats that fold flat the R1S boasts over 104 cu ft or storage space. The R1S can automatically adjust to a lower height when parked, as low as 8.8 inches off the ground, helping to load in little ones, groceries, or gear.
