The Jeep Grand Wagoneer comes in five basic 4x4 trims, Grand Wagoneer, Series II, Obsidian, Series III and Series III Obsidian. The Grand Wagoneer trim is powered by a 6.4L V8 with 471 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, with all other trims coming standard a new twin-turbocharged inline-six engine.
In 2022 The Jeep Grand Wagoneer had a limited-run twin-turbocharged inline-six engine called "Hurricane" now for 2023, there are two versions of the Hurricane six-cylinder engine. Up first is the basic version, which makes 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque, and the 510 hp and 500 lb-ft version, which does 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. The new 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L is seven inches longer than the standard Wagoneer, and it's a foot longer overall, it has considerably more cargo space behind all three rows of seats. The 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L has the same appointed interior with real wood, leather, metal trimmings, and high-end audio systems. This Full-size SUV now undeniably competes against its big-boy rivals the Cadillac and Lincoln.
The Grand Wagoneer is a full-size three-row SUV that has seating for 7 passengers, a power third-row seat and plenty of storage space. The Series I trim is loaded with plenty of standard features including 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, daytime running lights and fog lights, heated and ventilated power front seats, leather upholstery, automatic climate controls with separate rear controls, an HD satellite radio, a 19-speaker premium sound system, a 12-inch touchscreen, voice activated navigation, cruise control with stop and go, and 11 USB ports.
The Series II features wireless device charging, rain sensing wipers, a towing capacity of 8260 lbs., 22-inch wheels, leather upholstery, and ambient lighting. The Series III features heated rear seats, a power third-row, head-up display, and auto high-beams.
The Grand Wagoneer also features an available Tri-Pane Panoramic Sunroof, wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Next-Gen Uconnect 5 Nav system, a Class-Exclusive available Passenger Interactive Display which is seamlessly mounted on the passenger dash, the 10.25-inch passenger interactive display is connected to the driver screen. The front passenger can use this screen to participate in the journey, update the GPS coordinates and relay important trip information through the Uconnect 5 system. A rear entertainment system is also available with two 10.1-inch screens mounted to the back of the front seats. The system is equipped with an available Amazon Fire TV built-in, each second-row passenger can also choose their own entertainment or share in the same program.
Safety features are abundant with 8 airbags including driver and passenger knee airbags, automated parking sensors, blind spot warning, an active lane departure system, front and rear collision mitigation and pedestrian detection.
